Aldina Santos and her daughter, Margaret

Aldina Santos, the mother of Charles Santos Sr., standing in front of her home on Court St. in Lowell, MA, with her daughter. Aldina was born in 1876 and died in 1930. She was listed as a grocer in the census. She emigrated with her husband, Alberto, from Graciosa island. Aldina made Margaret’s first communion dress and veil, as seen in the photo.
