Newspaper clippings from the 1940s regarding soldiers whose families were members of the PAWV Post 1 or who were members themselves. These clippings were compiled in a scrapbook-like format on black paper. These clippings contain stories about the Honor Roll at the Portuguese Benefit Society of Our Lady of Help of the Portuguese servicemen and woman in the armed forces; and Private Abilio Pires' letter home to his family, as well as a picture of Private Joseph Pires.
