Description

Newspaper clippings from the 1940s regarding soldiers whose families were members of the PAWV Post 1 or who were members themselves. These clippings were compiled in a scrapbook-like format on black paper. These clippings contain stories about Private Francis W. Murphy, who was killed in action; George H. Hunter, who was badly wounded in combat; Leonard J. Ward and the end of his 50th mission; Lieutenant Clifford M. Fellows' furlough; a picture of Daniel J. Mullane; and the Garrette brothers' (Adelarde, Wilfred, and Gerard) reunion in New Guinea.
