Description

The two couples kneeling in the front row are Elza Bettencourt with Mario Bettencourt, and Evelyn (Ortins) Cunha with Manuel F. Cunha. Rose Aguiar stands directly behind them in the middle (below the rip in the photograph). José Lima stands behind her, with Lily Oliveira to his right. Inês Bettencourt and João Loredano stand on the far right end of the group.

The back of the photo is partially illegible, but states that the date this photo was taken was January 1967, and this was a group of dancers from "Benefício Sra. da Ajuda e C L Camões." Costumes were made by Rose L. Aguiar. The choreographers of the dance were João V. Bettencourt and José da Cunha Silva.
