Portuguese Benefit Society meeting minutes (1910-1921)

Record of the 1910-1921 meeting minutes for the Portuguese Benefit Society of Our Lady of Help, transcribed by the acting Secretary (of the Minutes) at the time.

Each entry includes information about the date and time the meeting started, who was in attendance (the "brothers") and who was absent, what was discussed, and information about the finances and membership dues. Some common topics of discussion include: readings and approvals of the past meeting minutes, decisions made by the Health Committee regarding specific benefits given to members and their families, discussions of amendments proposed by the Special Committee, readings of correspondences, records payments and finances for that period, and elections for the society officers.

The last page of the record includes the names of some of the society's insurers who are leaving the area.
