Participants of the procession include Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops from Lowell, religious leaders from the Saint Anthony Church, the Portuguese American Veterans of Saint Anthony's Church, the Portuguese Continental Union, Saint Anthony's Youth Group, Irmandade da Santissima Trindade, the Holy Ghost Queen and her ladies in waiting, members and directors of several religious societies and organizations, the Saint Anthony Choir, the Irmandade de Nossa Senhora do Rosario, and several other members of the parish who carry statues of Jesus, Mary, and other religious figures.
