Recording of the Portugal Day Celebration on June 10th, 1995. The video opens with footage of the parade and those marching, including the Rancho Folclórico Juventude Unida de Lowell dance troupe, the Girl Scouts of Lowell, the Rainhas de São João, Miss Simpatia (Miss Congeniality) 1995, the local youth soccer teams including Lowell United Soccer, Rádio Pátria, the Universal Church of Lowell, Bexx Wine & Spirits, the Holy Ghost Queen and her ladies in waiting, Irmandade da Santissima Trindade, marching bands including the Portuguese Band of Lowell, and various other participants and members of the Portuguese community.

After the parade, the organizer of the event gives a speech about the raising of the flag, and then a priest speaks about the history and religious implications of the event. The group then has a moment of silence for Humberto Correia, a well-known Portuguese advocate in Lowell. The flag is raised, and then Lowell Councilor Caulfield, Councilor Matt Donahue, Councilor Mulligan, and Representative Thomas Golden are introduced before Councilor Laurie Machado gives a speech about the history of Portuguese immigration and the Portuguese community in Lowell. One final speaker makes a speech about the legacy of the Portuguese community, and the Rancho Folclórico Juventude Unida de Lowell is initiated begins a dance performance. The event ends with a final speech by the event organizer thanking those involved with the ceremony.
