Description
This video contains footage of an extensive musical performance on the first Sunday of the Festival of the Holy Ghost. A band of musicians play music with Portuguese guitars and other string instruments while others in the crowd and on a stage sing along. More instruments such as electric guitars and horns are eventually added to the band and the performances becomes more upbeat. Then, the music genre shifts as the performers cover Blues and Rock and Roll songs, including "Hound Dog" and "Blue Suede Shoes," and sing covers of other Portuguese songs such as "Amada Amante" by Roberto Carlos. The musical performances end with a performance by younger children in the audience who sing along with the band.
