Description
Parade for the 150th anniversary of the city of Lowell, established in 1836. Several organizations and citizens of Lowell march in the procession, including veterans and active military groups such as the Beachmont Post from Revere, MA; marching bands including the American Legion band from Waltham, MA; the Lowell Sesquicentennial Commission; emergency responders; and performance groups representing the various ethnic communities of Lowell, including a Portuguese marching band and a float for the Portuguese community likely featuring the Holy Ghost queens.
