Oversized photograph of the Festival of Portuguese Fraternities in Peabody, MA. Several Portuguese fraternity organizations attended this event, including the F. P. Loja No. 3 Confiança from Lawrence, the Ramo Dom Jesus fraternity from East Boston, the Loja No. 6 Esperança fraternity from Lowell, the Ramo No. 19 fraternity from Hudson, the Taunton Portuguese fraternity, the Loja No. 1 fraternity from Cambridge, a fraternity from Boston, and the Victoria branch from Peabody. A revere band as well as other musicians are also present in the audience, amongst a large group of participating men, women, and children. Some are dressed in uniforms or traditional Portuguese clothing, and one woman holds a large bird of prey.
