The second Cantoria ao Desafio at an event in Lowell, MA performed by Azorean singers Francisco Andrade (right) and João Lionel (left), while accompanied by two guitar players, Jorge Silva and Vítor Silva. The Cantoria begins with a poem reading and an auction for a bottle of wine and ends with another announcement about the performance. There is also a reference to "a surprise" happening at the end of the event.

Cantorias ao Desafios (also known as Desgarradas) are a song form based Portuguese musical tradition where the singers improvise lyrics about the topic or emotion of their choosing over instrumental music and take turns challenging or responding to each other.
