Date

1995

Description

This dance appears to be another performance of the Attleboro Carnaval dance depicting a scene between two liars: a Brazilian and an Azorean.

The group of performers begin their dance while accompanied by guitars and accordions. A tambourine dancer performs with a whistle and sings the solos. Throughout the performance, the dance will pause for other actors to partake in a comical theatrical performance before the dances and music resume. The dancers wear black and white suits and feathered hats and the tambourine dancers wear all white with a feathered hat.
