Footage of the Festa de São João parade in Lowell, MA. Video begins with footage of the floats in the parade and the participants who are dressed for the event, including the Rainha de São João. The marching band is seen warming up. In the parade, there are cars for Miss Simpatia (Miss Congeniality) 2000 who was crowned on Dia de Portugal, the Rancho Folclórico Juventude Unida de Lowell dance group, Irmandade da Santissima Trindade, and several others. The parade ends with a speech by the Rainha de São João for 2000 and a performance by the Lowell Portuguese Band.
