Description

Footage of the Bodo de Leite parade as a part of the Great Feast of The Holy Ghost of New England in Fall River, MA.

Video begins with footage of some of the parade floats, including a car for the Sporting soccer team, a large display for the Centro Cultural de Santa Maria, and a decorated truck for the Portuguese Continental Union (União Portuguesa Continental). The parade itself contained a number of livestock such as cows and horses, as well as many decorated floats holding participants dressed in traditional outfits displaying Portuguese culture, or containing food such as baked goods or meat. Folclórico dance groups and musical groups also perform in the parade, like the Grupo Folclórico do Clube Português de Cranston, alongside attractions for community groups such as one in support of the Sporting Club.
