Testimony of Bishop da Silva's entry into the Royal Brotherhood of the Blessed Sacrament of the Parish of Martyrs, which holds the King [of Portugal] as the perpetual judge. It reflects his payment for entry as a brother and emphasizes that to uphold the brotherhood's commitment, Bishop da Silva must apply himself to the practice of spiritual exercises, namely by taking part in the Blessed Sacrament in viaticum, assisting in perpetual prayer, participating in the processions and festivities of the brotherhood, and also being responsible for attending the funerals of his deceased brothers.
