Description

Richard Mahoney lists some matters related to the lives of the community members and alludes to the misfortune that has befallen Bishop da Silva (his stay in the hospital) and the time he spent in Canada.

Mahoney informs Bishop da Silva that he started studying Theology in September and lists some of the classes he is taking. He hopes he will take his perpetual vows in September and asks Bishop da Silva to pray for his success.

He inquires about his intention to attend the Holy Year in Rome and says he would like to see Bishop da Silva before he leaves.

The letter was sent from the Scholasticate of Mary Immaculate in Washington, D.C. and delivered to New York.
