Matoushek informs Bishop da Silva of the money order that the University had received from him and said they will not be accepting his payment as he does not owe them anything. He tells the Bishop they were very satisfied with his visit and hopes that if he returns to Detroit, he will make his home at the University again. He finally asks that Bishop da Silva remember the Jesuit community of the University of Detroit in his prayers.

The letter was sent from Detroit, Michigan, and delivered to Lowell, Massachusetts.
