Title
Letter from Terence Francis Beehan to Henrique José Reed da Silva (March 4th, 1921)
Date
1921-03-04
Description
Beehan informs Bishop da Silva of the big event of the day: that the President [Warren Gamaliel Harding] is taking his oath of office. He mentions the hundreds of visitors that are in Washington, coming from all over the United States. He wishes that Bishop da Silva had been present and hopes to receive a photograph of him. He then discusses his classes and his success in different subjects. Beehan emphasizes that the Bishop is present in his prayers and thanks him for giving him a memento in his daily Eucharists. Finally, he dedicates a small "poem" to Bishop da Silva.
