Letter from the Bishop of Monterey-Los Angeles, Thomas James Conaty, to Henrique José Reed da Silva (March 11th, 1908)

Bishop Conaty announces that he would be happy to have Bishop da Silva come to the parishes of the diocese so he can carry out missionary work among the Portuguese. He adds that he has written to Monsignor McCarthy of Fresno and asked him to notify the priests of the Valley.

He mentions that he has attached a copy of their faculties and asks when he is ready to begin the work.
