Father Taveira inquires Bishop da Silva about accepting an invite, which he will send at a later date, to be present at the dedication celebration for the Portuguese Church of the United States of America, occurring on the 8th of September of that year. Hence, Father Taveira lists the conditions of the trip and the procedures leading up to the formal invitation. He then discusses the distinction between American and Portuguese bishops.
