Letter from the Bishop of Meliapor, Henrique José Reed da Silva, addressed to the Minister and Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and acting Secretary of the Navy and Overseas, Henrique de Barros Gomes, regarding Monsignor Andrea Aiuti's decree. Bishop da Silva mentions sending a topographic map of Madras (Chennai) and asks that the Holy See rectify the decree of Monsignor Andrea Aiuti (the apostolic nuncio in Portugal), with a goal to grant the diocese of Mylapore a certain geographical area.
