Storefront]]> Lowell (Mass.)]]> Portuguese American women]]> Stores, Retail]]> In 1919, the store became Sousa P. & Co., Inc. and Picanso served as the company's Secretary while Sousa served as Treasurer. In March of 1923, the store would move to 90 Middlesex Street, and after Picanso's death in 1924, Sousa would continue serving as the treasurer of the business.
