Then, the program formally begins and each contestant walks the stage with a short dance to "Comment ça va" and introduces themselves by announcing their name, age (ranging 14-16), and a small bit of information about themselves, such as where they're enrolled in high school. After they leave the stage again, the annoucer thanks the women who helped decorate the venue and the members of the community who donated prizes for this event.

The program continues and the women are led back onto the stage one-by-one by the pages to place a paper with their name on it in the drawing bowl, all while the announcer provides more information about where the contestants are from and their families. Names are then drawn from the bowl to announce who will be the second ladies—one being Carla Estêvão—and the Holy Ghost Queen, Jenny Borba.
